Blessed be the God who delivers His servants. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss faith as they study Daniel 3:20-28. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had the faith needed to not bow to the king’s god, and survive the fiery furnace. King Nebuchadnezzar selected his mightiest men to carry out the undertaking of pushing the three into the furnace. Those mighty men were killed doing so, by the excruciating heat. The king then asked, do you see what I see? Nebuchadnezzar saw a fourth man walking about in the furnace with the three Hebrew boys. The same three that went into the fire, came out of the fire unscathed; the only thing that burned, was the rope that bound the wrists of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. After seeing this, king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledges before all his people the supremacy of Jehovah.
