To whom much is given, much is required. Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the sin and insanity of king Nebuchadnezzar, and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. Reading in Daniel Chapter four, we see king Nebuchadnezzar lifting up Daniel for the interpretation of his dream; he knew Daniel would tell him the truth. Some fifteen years after the dream, the king destroyed Jerusalem for their rebellion, before personally going into a mental darkness for some seven years. Brother Swaggart asks about the word watcher in verse thirteen, and why the Holy Spirit used it in the Word of God. Brother Larson says he believes that the Lord wants us to know that all situations in our lives are under His scrutiny. Remember, Jesus taught, the Lord knows every hair on our head and every sparrow that falls. That is God.
