Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, came out of the palace of Judah. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the fall and sin of Judah. As Babylon takes over, and they find themselves a defeated people, God has a remnant in the middle of this great failure of Israel. Even though Daniel and the Hebrew children were captives, conquering kings oftentimes took the best men of the countries they had defeated; making their nation stronger when these young men assimilated with their men of wisdom. However, Daniel and the children would not partake of the government’s demands of them, even though refusal endangered their lives and living. Brother Swaggart reminds, trials will come to every believer sooner or later. The question is, how do we conduct ourselves? What do we do? As believers, we cannot go along with false teachings of the church, we must stand on the side of the Lord.
