God is God. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the testimony of Daniel and how the Spirit of the Holy God was with him. King Nebuchadnezzar had a high expectation of truth from Daniel. The king knew that Daniel knew God, and that the Lord spoke through Daniel; thus, Nebuchadnezzar had great confidence in Daniel. People desire truth, even if it’s not positive. A true man of God, will deliver the right message and not give the people what they want to hear, but what God wants them to hear. From the interpretation of the dream, to the time God humbled the king, Brother Swaggart says, it’s not clear if Daniel appealed to the king to quit serving his idol gods or even to start serving Jehovah; but hearing the king speak of "Daniel’s Holy God", he very likely repented. God sends all of us a warning, with an opportunity to turn to Him.
