Brother Dave Smith and Dr. Don Paul Gray explain 1 John 1:9, where we are instructed to confess our sins and they will be forgiven. The panel makes clear this is not a Word of Faith mindset. Refusal to bring our sin to the Lord, then sentences the believer’s heart and mind to live with their sin and never truly know the rest that Christ offered, to all who ask and believe, on His finished work at Calvary that covers all sin. When you acknowledge what you have done wrong, Christ says, NOT guilty.
