Did Daniel understand who the Antichrist was? Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 7:19-20, regarding Daniel’s entire recourse with regards to what’s going to happen to Israel in the last days. Likely, Daniel understood there was a role that had to be played by Israel, and that there was a devastation coming their way. This is why he is upset about what he hears and what he sees, regarding these nations that are dominating Israel. Daniel’s insight of all of these kingdoms does not spell well for Israel. In fact, Israel no longer existed as a nation, as it was totally destroyed by Titus, the Roman general. The Lord set them aside, out of protection and chastisement; the Jewish people were scattered all over the world of that day, and even still in our day.
