Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss chapters eleven and twelve of Daniel, and what Daniel truly understood of what he wrote. Peter said that these prophets, asked the Lord to show them what they prophesied because they did not really understand too much of what they had said, and they sought the Lord, whether that included Daniel or not, the bible doesn’t say. In Daniel 11:35, through the rest of the chapter, Daniel deals more with future events, that even to this day have not happened. There are some characteristics of understanding we have to associate with Daniel; he describes where geographically the Antichrist is from. He second of all, explains the character of this individual. Brother Swaggart says, so we see Daniel has some understanding as to what’s going to happen here; just as he did with understanding the ten kingdoms as laid out in Daniel chapters seven and eight.
