Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss revival. Brother Swaggart says repentance and reformation are required before there is any hope of revival. In the first three chapters of Romans, Paul writes to show people where they are and show them where the results of sin take them. There has to be repentance in the heart of sinful man, and there has to be a reformation of thinking, a transformation, and an acceptance. America needs a revival. God is looking for men and women who will stand in the gap. Brother Swaggart says there has to be a change in our approach to Christendom, and the message of the Cross is playing a huge role in that. Sin has such a strangle hold on our nation. America has a reprobate mind, and it can’t comprehend spiritual truth and spiritual things. When repentance comes, we can expect a great moving of the Holy Spirit; unprecedented, like something we’ve never seen before.
