Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Romans 1:18 looking at God’s wrath against sin. Whenever Israel lived for God, and did their best to serve Him, obey Him, and to keep His commandments, God blessed them. He blessed them abundantly. I mean abundantly. But whenever Israel lost her way, and went into idol worship, and did the very things that God told them not to do, He withheld His grace and love from them. Sometimes the prophets repeatedly warned them for a hundred or more years before His wrath would exhibit itself. That is how merciful God is. We have ungodliness in our society today, more than ever. There is no reverence for God, and there is no fear of God because we have declassified sin as a good thing. The bible says, in the last days they will call good evil, and evil good.
