Do you know what you have? The new man is a free man. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Romans 6:7, for He that is dead is free from the dominion of sin. When a believing sinner comes to Christ and repents and solely puts his faith into the finished work of Christ, we will find that the Cross will separate us from the root of sin. Anchoring our faith in Him alone, the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to remove the remaining signs of sin that still cling on in a life. That root, the power source of sin, is cut at salvation and Christ changes everything in our lives to transform us into His image. At the Cross, we are freed from the dominion of sin; it is a guarantee.
