Often times, the believer doesn’t realize the fullness of what happens at salvation. Brother Larson shares how one is the power for living, and the other gives the power for service. They are meant to work together in life, not to be separated as they are in many church circles today. The power of the Holy Spirit comes in at salvation to lead us to living holy and right, and then the baptism can take place when a person asks to receive this second gift. What activates both is faith in Christ and the Cross. In the last 100 years, some 500-million people have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
