Who are you that judge another? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss justification and how it is a needed entity with humankind, for it allows us to have a relationship with God as imperfect beings. When we are born again, our enmity with God is removed. Man’s sin is the only thing that makes us at enmity with God, and at salvation the blood of Jesus covers our sin. With justifying peace now within us, we also can have a sanctifying peace if we allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in our lives. We must keep our faith in the finished work of Christ to have this sanctifying peace. Brother Swaggart says if our faith is in ourselves or in our church it will destroy sanctifying peace in our lives. We must not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
