We must daily take up the Cross to walk a victorious Christian life. It is not just a symbol we look upon. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 7:18 discussing the sanctification process in a believer’s life. The Apostle Paul’s teachings were fervent because he personally knew that which he desired to do he couldn’t, and that which he did not want to do, he struggled with. The believer must understand that if we do not anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ the Holy Spirit will not have the liberty to do in us that which God desires. We are a new creation in Christ and there is a regeneration that happens at salvation, and all is available there to walk victoriously with all leading done by the Holy Spirit.
