The believer needs to be equipped; knowing the freedom we have from the penalty and power of sin, despite the presence of sin all around us. We must know the power of the finished work of the Cross, then we know how to live out this salvation in the presence of sin. Brother Larson says, too many believers are not discipled to know this. Scripture confirms, the just shall live by faith. We need to know what has been done for us, by Christ at Calvary, and walk in it; not quitting to this truth results in victory this side of heaven. The power of the Holy Spirit is able to change in us what needs to be changed when we holdfast to our first love, only believe in Christ and Him crucified.
