There is no sin that the Holy Spirit cannot deal with if the believer anchors his or her faith in the finished work of Christ. There is nothing He cannot do. The believer who tries to do good on his own behalf to conquer sin in his life will only see Satan steal, kill, and destroy that which God has laid out for a victorious Christian walk. Proper maintenance by the Christian must be in Christ’s finished work alone, this is the only way the Holy Spirit will work.
