The supernatural power of the Holy Spirit renews us. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the renewing power of the Holy Spirit and how it is needed in every life. Reading Galatians 5:16, we see the command to walk in the Spirit, so we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Brother Larson tells us, by faith we have been saved, but there are clinging vines of the fall. We are carnal, sold unto sin; the deeds of the flesh do not go away, but there is a continually renewal for the believer who has faith in the finished work of Christ. This is how the Holy Spirit works in a life. Christ made this whole process available to man by dying on Calvary’s Cross. The renewing power of the Holy Spirit is biblical, and should exist in the life of every Christian.
