Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:16 discussing how the Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit. This means that He is constantly speaking and witnessing concerning certain things to us. We are the children of God and should enjoy all the privileges of such. We can do so, if we understand that all these privileges come to us from God, by the means of the Cross. All these things, eternal life, the baptism with the Holy Spirit, etc., all come to us by the means of the Cross. All we have to do is believe in His finished work and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.
