Everything from God is a gift. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how God has nothing for sale. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. You cannot obtain it, or have that gift given to you if you try to earn it because it negates the whole thing. It poisons it. It’s the greatest thing on the face of the earth, whenever a person accepts Christ as their Savior; all because of simple faith in Christ, and what Christ did at the Cross. We are not saved by works, but we’re justified by faith. Abraham believed God, and God accounted it to him for righteousness. This is for every person. The favor God did at Calvary was not for friends, but for those who hated him. This is the grace of God given to all mankind who will only believe.
