Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel ask the question, can the church have psychology and the Cross at the same time? You can study both, but you can’t believe both. There are certain things in the whole field of psychology that agree with scripture, but much of it doesn't. Dr. Gray says, he has compared different major philosophies and psychologies, and much of it contradicts scripture and that is wrong; we must identify it, and throw it out. Psychology doesn’t deal with sin; they call it other things. They call it habits, and they call it diseases. The problem of man is sin, and the Cross is the answer.
