When man is redeemed, believing on the finished work of Christ, he will have a changed heart by the power of Jesus Christ. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Romans 1:4-5, looking at the settlement made through Christ. Jesus is the Son of God and He is man’s Redeemer. He is the Messiah, and is described some 58 times in the New Testament as the Son of David, meaning He comes from David’s lineage. The Crucifixion and Resurrection showed forth that man too will be resurrected at the coming rapture; right now, man can live a resurrected life because of what Jesus did on Calvary’s Cross. We have received His grace and pardon from sin; we are all called to be a part of taking this glorious gospel message to the world.
