Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the various doctrines of conditional and unconditional eternal security. Brother Gray shares on John Calvin’s teachings. Calvinism includes the false teaching that our salvation has been pre-determine by God no matter what we do or choose personally. This limited atonement, for just some “elect”, has turned many astray from the truth of God’s Word. Dr. Gray says this wrong teaching just doesn’t coincide with the nature and character of God. God’s Word says, man has a free moral will to choose to accept or reject salvation. This is the one condition that affords man’s eternity to be spent either in heaven or hell. This is conditional eternal security; accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, and you will make heaven your eternal home.
