Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Daniel 10:16-19; looking at the pre-incarnate appearance of Christ to Daniel. Brother Swaggart says Christ, as God, always was; but Christ as a man had a physical beginning in Mary. Christ in His glory appeared scores of times, just as He did to Joshua going into Jericho. Pastor Ragan says being in God’s presence is like looking in a mirror. When you realize you are in the presence of God, it is crippling; because when you see Him for who He is, you see yourself as you really are. It’s hard to sit in the presence of a Holy God, because it exposes you.
