Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Daniel 10:1; in the third year of Cyrus, King of Persia, the thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true but the time appointed was long; and he understood the thing and had understanding of the vision. Brother Swaggart says the time appointed was long has reference to the fulfillment of this vision being in the far distance future, at least from Daniel’s day, but now, it could be fulfilled shortly. We see the problem for Israel now with the Palestinians will only increase until the Antichrist steps in to settle the problem. The Antichrist will appear to settle the problem between Israel and the Muslims, but will be a false peace. The Muslim world does not want to admit that Isaac was the one whom through the Messiah, the Redeemer would come. They want Ishmael to be the one, so all of the contention leads to Jesus Christ; they just don’t want to admit Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
