With God there is no limit; who against hope believed in hope, being not weak in faith. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 4:18-21 discussing how Abraham never failed to believe that the son God had promised him would come about. When we try to help God out, as Abraham did with Hagar, we are in the flesh, which will not work. Abraham never stopped believing in the promise God gave him. When we believe on Christ, and don’t give up on Him, we will stand in His glory one day, and He will say that our faith staggered not. God will not give up on us despite any missteps along the way. If we are fully persuaded, as Abraham, and believe on the finished work of Christ, God will perform that which He has promised.
