In evaluating a preacher or a church, it is a must to look at what is being taught there. Brother Swaggart and the panel today continue on in John 14:17 and warn of the deception in the church and holding fast to the Spirit of Truth. Brother Loren Larson addresses the fact that people will bounce from ministries to find something that appeals to self. But true men of God must warn the people, just as Paul reprimanded Peter in Galatians 2:13. Brother Bob Cornell touches on the importance of calling out false doctrines, especially when the false teaching blatantly threatens a believers faith. Dave Smith says we must get serious when we are talking about heaven or hell for people who are being led astray. The panel discusses the lies of Catholicism and the history of the indulgent system and the 16th Century movement, during the Reformation where hundreds of millions of people truly got saved. This prompted by the discussion of a 2014 team of preachers that met with Pope Frances and said the Reformation is over.
