Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how believers are dead in their sins and trespasses, but God will make us alive. The supernatural work of the Spirit, and His regenerating power, shows us the hand of God since the beginning of time. Paul says Abraham is the Father of Faith, and God preached this gospel to Abraham in Genesis 12:3. Discussing the false doctrine of the Muslim faith, reading in Romans 4:17, God made Abraham the father of many nations, those of Isaac, not Ishmael. Abraham is the father of all who walk by proper faith. He is the forerunner. Of all the nations of the world, God only sees the saved and the unsaved; nothing else takes priority over salvation. We can only come into the kingdom by faith in Christ, just as Abraham. It is at salvation we are justified, Jew and Gentile alike.
