The Holy Spirit comes into the life of a believer at salvation. He convicts of sin, leads us to Christ, and after accepting Christ and repentance, then He assures our salvation and then leads us into all truth. Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. For overcoming sin is only done by anchoring our faith in the finished work of Christ. He illuminates scripture and He anoints the preacher and the believer to live a life to understand the truth of the Cross. The panel goes on to explain the power of the Holy Spirit that comes to a believer with power for service with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
