Living at the foot of the Cross is one of the most humbling experiences there is. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss pride and the spirit of division. The Apostle Paul addressed this greatly in the early church. What Jesus did at the Cross was the most humbling thing that a human being could ever under go. What does it mean to carry your Cross daily? This is a giving up of one’s life; this has to happen in Christianity. It is a willing submission to the plan and purpose of God in every aspect for our lives; it is how we go about living for God, as opposed to how men say we should live for God. In Christ, we become a servant; because we have been crucified with Him, our will is to be swallowed up in His will.
