Daniel interprets that the great Babylonian Empire will be split. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the hand writing on the wall, and Daniel being called to interpret it. Belshazzar was literally scared speechless. He was almost out of his mind, but he still made no effort to get right with God; while his grandfather, Nebuchadnezzar yielded and gave his heart to the Lord. There’s no record that Belshazzar ever did. Your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. The Septuagint says, numbered is the time of your kingdom; in other words, it’s over. It's a strange way to make this sentence, but it's the Holy Spirit who did it; it’s short, sweet, and to the point, you are doomed.
