The hand of God was on Daniel. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the Lord exalting Daniel. This flusters man, because it doesn’t fit in with any of the normal climbing of the ranks we see in society. But if you will work unto the Lord, and commit your ways unto Him, it really doesn’t matter where or what the situation; if the hand of God is upon you, the Lord will exalt you, and no man can touch that. Scripture says, without God, the heart of man is wicked and deceitful. Brother Swaggart says, if they had spent their time bettering the kingdom, as they did trying to destroy Daniel, they would have come out a lot better off. Listening to Daniel’s wisdom would have resulted in a blessing from God; instead they destined Daniel to the lion’s den.
