For the end of those things is death? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:21 discussing the results of living a life of sin. If man does not repent of their sin and come to Christ, they will be eternally separated from God. Brother Smith shares his personal walk in religion and how he finally came to Christ as a young adult. In all his early years in church, he was never told he needed to repent of his sin and ask Jesus to be his Savior. The sin nature will corrupt the mind and the heart to deceive a believer to move their faith away from the finished work of Christ. But when faith stays anchored in the Cross of Christ, the sin nature will remain dormant in the believer’s life and then the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ.
