Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 7:1 and Exodus 15:26 discussing the Israelites in the wilderness and the tabernacle. God’s sacrificial system, all typified the Cross of Christ. The Ten Commandments, and law keeping were designed by God with the intent to show man that we are a fallen creation. We are not righteous, and cannot keep all the law one hundred percent of the time because of our spiritual condition. This shows our need for a Savior. Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s Cross to save all of sinful man. Believing on that alone is the only way to salvation and living out a victorious Christian life.
