Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss getting a Bible College education. Brother Larson says at JSBC he begins with the Book of Romans, because that is the foundation for the message of the Cross. The panel agrees education in this country is in trouble, and the system is going to have to be revamped and renewed as costs are too high in secular accreditation education, and even the bible colleges are seeing the same. The panel agrees we must protect the subject that we teach, which is the bible. We’re going to have to fight to stay true to it because there’s not many, if any, bible colleges left. Northpoint, is still a bible college, and emphasizes the bible. They are an accredited institution, but most of the 19 bible colleges of the Assemblies of God that started off as bible colleges are now only one or two left as bible colleges singularly, all the rest are a mix.
