Do you know who you truly are in Christ? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what it means to be guilty before God. The Apostle Paul, in these early chapters of Romans, teaches what man fails to recognize; and that is, we are sinners. So many would say they believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but it stops there; this is called head knowledge of who Jesus is. But how many truly understand their status with God, how He sees us. Romans is the greatest treaty of the gospel, and it starts off with Paul dividing the men into Jews and Gentiles; all men are guilty before God, and require an acknowledgement of needing a Savior, and then having a relationship with God. Just knowing about Him isn’t enough; it is accepting Him, personally as Lord and Savior from deep within the heart.
