Satan is the father of lies. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Romans 1:23-25, looking at changing the truth into a lie; verses 23 through 25, particularly, look at spiritual and sexual uncleanness. It refers to man worshipping the creation of his own hands, by serving the creature more than the creator. Verse 26 says, for even their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature. These are the sins highlighted in our world today; this is likely going to be going on until the Lord comes back, and now we see our government recognizing and promoting such sins. Brother Swaggart says this just shows how far down the spiral we have gone. Our nation cannot continue like it is. It is slapping God in the face. Changing the truth of God into a lie, that is the devil’s ammo. It is a reoccurring theme all the way from the Old Testament to the Great tribulation.
