If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 9:20; and while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God, for the Holy Mountain of my God. Daniel declared that Jerusalem, had been called by God’s name, and chosen by God. It will be the capitol of His eternal kingdom on earth. As for confessing sin, a believer must confess sin to receive forgiveness for sin. The panel clarifies, sometimes the believer commits acts of sin in ignorance, not even knowing it is sin; one of the Old Testament sacrifices was for sins of ignorance. Praise God, the blood of Jesus Christ forgives and cleanses us from that sin as well. The Blood is enough.
