The burden of sin can be lifted when we take it to the Lord, and ask for forgiveness. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how Jesus dealt with the woman brought before Him in sin and said go and sin no more; the law demanded that she be stoned. He ever lives to make intercession for us. He paid the price for all sin at Calvary’s Cross. Believers don’t have to live a life of failure just because of the burden of unforgiven sin. If we ask His forgiveness, He will grant it. The panel discusses the false doctrine of once saved always saved, which leaves many believers thinking they don’t have to deal with the daily sin in their lives any longer once they are saved. Brother Larson corrects that thought saying, the Gospel is about change and growth in the life of every believer. Christ died to save us from sin and self, and be transformed into His image.
