Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel read Romans 1:20 & 21, discussing how if men do not understand God in the realm of creation, then they will not understand Him in anything else. The bible says because that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, and neither were they thankful. Refusing to honor Him results in a lack of gratitude for His gifts. The only direction that fallen man can go, considering he has rejected God, is man becomes vain in their imaginations and their foolish hearts are darkened because they have rejected light. Brother Swaggart says when man stands before God, he cannot say, I did not know, because creation tells him there is a creator. The physical creation reveals something about God, and that is what we all should be pursuing; who is this God? I want to know this God and have a relationship with this God who made all things.
