Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 8:10. When the Antichrist comes, the Jews are going to claim that he is their Messiah. He will use that to exploit them with the intention that he wants to gather their confidence and strength, and ultimately to turn on them later. It will bring a unity, that will come with the rebuilding of the Temple. It will bring Israel great acceptance, and it will draw others in to accept them; whether they will be in a seat of power, probably not, but they will most certainly be in a seat of advisory and be recognized. Three and a half years in, this will turn for the worst; and it was waxed great, even to the host of heaven, and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them. This is the Battle of Armageddon that will be fought by the Antichrist in his effort to defeat Israel.
