Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 8:12, looking at the transgressions of the Antichrist, and his breaking of his seven-year covenant with Israel. He will stop the daily sacrifice, and it practiced and prospered refers to the fact that much of the world will applaud him in those actions. The world will not be in sympathy with the Jews, because they don’t care for God either; so the Antichrist will take over the Temple and perform miracles himself along with false prophets, and he will have the world praising him. The next thing on his agenda will be to completely destroy Israel, and he’ll come close to doing it, until Jesus Christ comes on the scene.
