The answer for all sin is the Cross of Christ, because sin keeps us separated from God. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss sin and the downward spiral that occurs when we continue in it. Reading Romans 6:5 we see that when we understand the Cross, and how we are to be planted into the likeness of His death, then, and only then we can be in the likeness of His resurrection. The only way to live resurrection life on this earth and make heaven is by way of the Cross. The Cross is the only way to live Resurrection life. It must be the object of our faith so the Holy Spirit will have latitude in our lives.
