Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:1-2 discussing how sin is no longer to rule a believer’s life. We are not to get caught up in legalism and works in an effort to sanctify ourselves, for law will bring forth more sin. We are sanctified at salvation; and when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ, we can live for Him in victory. The sin nature will remain dormant, and we will grow in Him correctly, through the moving of the Holy Spirit. Christ atoned for all sin at Calvary’s Cross.
