Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 7:25. And he shall speak great words against the most high, and shall wear out the saints of the most high; Brother Swaggart wants us to know that these saints, being referred to here, are not the church of today, but Israel. While some would say, Israel was not a saint at that time, but God knew that they would be. He’s going by the promise that He’s made to the Jewish people. The Covenants that He’s established with them. It means, the Holy Ones. They are associated to the Covenant promises of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God always brings them back to the oath He made to Abraham, that He would take his seed, and bring them into the land; and from that seed, would come forth the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
