Don’t you know, daily we believe on the finished work of Christ, and this is how we live this life. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:2-3, discussing what it means to pick up the Cross daily. The Christian is to deny self, and solely anchor one’s faith in what Jesus accomplished on Calvary’s Cross. (Luke 9:23) This is how we serve Jesus Christ and follow Him. The only thing that changes the heart of man is to trust on Christ and not self. We can’t fix our own problems; this is why we take up the Cross everyday for every problem. This is what it means to deny self.
