Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the importance of sitting under a ministry that upholds the truth that is found in the Word of God. Reading from Daniel 9:8-9, Brother Swaggart warns how all sin is directed against God; for Satan hates God. If we will only humble ourselves before God, and repent of sin in our lives, then His mercy and His grace will be poured out in our lives. We must recognize preachers, teachers and prophets of truth; beware that Satan’s efforts can be subtle to steer us from the Message of the Cross. Disobedience to God and His Covenant can bring about a curse; as Daniel warned in the Old Testament, a curse will be poured upon the people. Believers will be rewarded for keeping God’s Covenant with obedient faith; that is, New Covenant faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
