The believer must present themselves to faith in Christ and the Cross. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how we can move forward in a victorious Christian life. If we present ourselves to self-works, law, and habits we will find only sin and death. Any system outside of Christ and what He has done will lead to failure. Christ’s work on Calvary’s Cross was a finished work, and we are not to strive to achieve or accomplish that which He has already won on our behalf. In Christ, when we repent we are found forgiven, and maintaining our faith in what He did alone will result in the Holy Spirit working on our behalf to lead us into a victorious Christian life.
