The church must come back to the Cross. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the revelation of the finished work of Christ, which is what every person needs. Too many, in our churches today, have left the truth that they came to at salvation. Humanistic psychology only excuses the sin in a person’s life, and it teaches a person to accept what they are and cope with it. The blood of Jesus covers all sin and the struggles of man can be laid to rest at the Cross of Christ. Faith is the key of the New Covenant man finding victory in this life. We must be dependent upon His finished work alone, and then the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ. At salvation, we are wholly sanctified and justified in Christ and Him alone.
