Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Tommy Bates from Community Family Church in Independence Kentucky as they discuss the power of God, which is greater than anything Satan can conjure up against us. The fruit of the flesh will try to go another way other than the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. God’s hedge of protection can be lifted when we do not follow what He has provided. Rejecting anything other than what God has provided through Christ will only lead to a downward spiral of sin. When we seek His truth, the Spirit of God will lead us to an abundant life and not death. As a believer we must have total dependency on Christ who now lives in us. At salvation we come to the end of ourselves, and realize we need a Savior, and this is how we are to walk out our Christian life. Colossians 2:6 reads, as we have received Christ Jesus, so must we walk in Him.
