Why would God leave the sin nature in the believer now that we are born again? The church is married to Christ; we have been officially joined to Christ at salvation, now in this time of testing, will we be faithful? Will we remain faithful to the provision of God? Only constant faith in Christ and the Cross can guarantee victory and keep the sin nature dormant. We must always be dependent on God and not on ourselves.
