Jesus Christ met every need of man on Calvary’s Cross. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Romans 4:8-9, looking at what Christ’s death afforded for Jew and Gentile. He nailed the law to His Cross. We are a whole new person when we come to Christ. Coming against the new converts of the early church, the Apostle Paul preached the faith of Abraham affording him righteousness, as it was not accomplished by a doing of the law. There is victory that is available to the struggling believer who will put their faith exclusively in the Cross of Christ. Jesus is our Savior and our deliverer. Our struggles teach us dependence on Him. The answer for all sin is Jesus Christ and not by works but by faith the power of the Holy Spirit goes to work in our lives to lead us into a victorious Christian life. The just shall live by faith.
